Spectrex SharpEye FS-1200 Flame Simulator

The Spectrex SharpEye FS-1200 Flame Simulator provides safe, reliable end-to-end testing of compatible UV and UV/IR flame detection systems without the hazards of an open flame. The handheld simulator generates a controlled radiation pattern recognized by compatible SharpEye detectors as a fire condition, allowing technicians to verify detector response, viewing-window cleanliness, wiring integrity, alarm outputs, relays, and connected fire-alarm equipment.

Depending on the detector model and sensitivity setting, the FS-1200 can activate compatible flame detectors from distances up to 23 ft. Its portable design allows technicians to test elevated or difficult-to-access detectors from floor or deck level, helping reduce the need for ladders and scaffolding.

The FS-1200 features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery capable of supporting at least 100 tests per charge, a heavy-duty copper-free aluminum enclosure, IP65 environmental protection, and hazardous-area certifications.
